Delaware Valley Charter High School

The mission of the Delaware Valley Charter High School (DVCHS) is to provide an exemplary educational program based on a rigorous curriculum in a S.A.F.E. environment. Through our commitment to Scholarship, Attitude, Focus and Excellence, DVCHS seeks to develop our students’ critical thinking and social skills to facilitate a successful transition into higher education or a career. DVCHS encourages students to be lifelong learners, while developing their critical thinking skills, promoting honesty and integrity; and preparing them to be the future leaders of our community and nation.

We are aware that many students are in conflict between staying in school and going to work. DVCHS is also committed to addressing high dropout rates by utilizing educational strategies that develop and strengthen the student's ability to secure meaningful employment. DVCHS will partner with various businesses in the Philadelphia area to provide internships and on the job training for students as part of their educational program. Students will also have an opportunity to enhance their academic studies by participating in courses at Arcadia University (Beaver College) with the option of becoming full-time students upon graduation.
