Delaware Valley Charter High School Service Program Helps End Hunger

In their commitment to community stewardship, Delaware Valley Charter High School (DVCHS) student volunteers will join peers from other Philadelphia high schools to serve families in need by preparing food packages on Sunday, October 12 from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our Mission

The mission of the Delaware Valley Charter High School (DVCHS) is to make sure that all students learn via a rigorous curriculum in a S.A.F.E. environment. Through our commitment to Scholarship, Attitude, Focus and Excellence, DVCHS seeks to develop our students' critical thinking and social skills to facilitate a successful transition into higher education or a career. DVCHS encourages students to be lifelong learners, while developing their critical thinking skills, promoting honesty and integrity, and preparing them to be the future leaders of our community and nation.

Board Meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 3:30 PM throughout the 2014-2015 school year.

DVCHS Anticipates Visit from Headmaster of Sister School in China

Delaware Valley Charter High School (DVCHS) eagerly awaits the arrival of Handan, China sister school headmaster, He Haijiang of Fuxing High School. Haijiang, who is traveling with 10-12 colleagues, will arrive in Boston in early November to attend education conferences and visit their perspective exchange schools. Read more.

Interested parents should be actively involved in the education process of their children and be comfortable providing input and sharing ideas in a group setting. This is a great opportunity for parents to experience a vast amount of personal growth and to learn and be personally involved in education throughout Pennsylvania.
